IC BENCHMARKING (IC QUICK CHECK)
The IC Benchmarking concept was presented by Markus Will (Fraunhofer IPK). As background information, he outlined the results from the InCaS project and its contribution to the systematisation and harmonisation of IC management on European level. Starting from there, he explained the possibilities to compare IC between single enterprises or even between enterprise groups or clusters. He went on explaining the IC Benchmarking concept so far and the different possibilities of benchmarking on company and on cluster level. Based on example portfolios he explained different scenarios of IC Benchmarking, how it can be applied and which would be the benefits from the exercise for the different stakeholders (cluster companies or cluster as a whole).
